APhone launches web3 native app store AppNest

Web3 cloud smartphone APhone has announced the launch of its new blockchain native app store called AppNest.

Available only via the APhone app, the store provides users and developers an alternative to the restrictive app store models, heavily dominated by Apple and Google. In contrast to their 30% fees, AppNest is free.

Focused on both DeFi and gaming, AppNest includes crypto exchanges and wallet services such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, Phantom, Metamask, and Uniswap. NFT marketplaces OpenSea and Magic Eden are also listed. Additionally, its game catalogue includes Mighty Action Heroes, Battle.tech, and Stargate

“With AppNest, we are giving users a complete ‘outside the box’ experience – moving beyond the conventional hardware requirements and reach of traditional gatekeepers,” commented APhone CBO William Paul Peckham.

“Our goal is to democratize access to technology and provide a full web3 mobile experience to users worldwide, irrespective of geographical or economic barriers.”

APhone is powered by AI-focused GPU service provider Aethir.
